Dashboard - EasyGrid
📊

Dashboard

Your whole system, live, at a glance. Open EasyGrid.local in any browser - no app. Live PV power, AC output, grid voltage, frequency, today’s and lifetime energy, battery SOC, plus a zoomable 24-hour chart. It auto-identifies your inverter (brand, model, firmware, serial).

Energy Flow - EasyGrid
🔀

Energy Flow

An animated flow diagram showing energy move between Solar → Battery → Home → Grid → EV in real time. One look tells you whether you’re charging the car from the sun, selling surplus to the grid, or pulling from the battery after dark.

Elpriser - EasyGrid
💸

Elpriser

Live Danish day-ahead spot prices for DK1 and DK2, today and tomorrow, fetched and cached by the device itself. A colour-coded badge (green = cheap, red = expensive) sits on the dashboard so the current hour’s price is always in front of you.

Energy Trader - EasyGrid
🤖

Energy Trader

The heart of the machine. It builds a 24-hour plan: when to charge the battery from cheap grid power, when to hold, discharge or export. It runs Learning → Simulation → Production so you can watch it prove itself - and it tracks your real import, export and savings.

Solar Forecast - EasyGrid
☀️

Solar Forecast

Pulls a PV production forecast (Forecast.Solar + Open-Meteo weather) for your roof, your coordinates, your panel setup. The Trader uses it to decide how much grid charging you actually need - so you never pay to fill a battery the sun would have filled itself.

Pinpoint location & map - EasyGrid

📍

Pinpoint location & map

The solar forecast is only as accurate as your location. Type in your address and the device geocodes your coordinates automatically - then you can verify them on an interactive map before they are used. The more precise the location, the sharper your solar forecast.

Grid Balancing - EasyGrid
⚖️

Grid Balancing

Let your battery earn money while it just sits there. Sign up, and your battery helps keep the grid stable - you get paid for making the capacity available.

EV Charger - EasyGrid
🔌

EV Charger

Charge only on solar surplus, only in the cheapest hours, on a schedule, or flat-out on demand. Works with Easee, Zaptec, Wallbox Pulsar, go-e, Tesla Wall Connector, Solplanet Apollo and Alfen - cloud or local. Set it once; it charges the car the cheapest, greenest way without you thinking about it.

Supported EV chargers - EasyGrid
🔋

Supported EV chargers

EasyGrid talks directly to your charger - in the cloud or locally on your own network. Pick your brand, enter the connection, and the device controls charging by sun and price. Local OCPP and HTTP chargers run entirely without any cloud.

Easee Cloud
Zaptec Cloud
Wallbox Pulsar (Plus/Max) Cloud
Solplanet Apollo Local OCPP 1.6J
Alfen (Eve Single Pro/Line) Local OCPP 1.6J
go-e Charger (Gemini/HOME) Local HTTP
Tesla Wall Connector (Gen 3) Local · monitor only
Datalogger - your lifetime archive - EasyGrid
💾

Datalogger - your lifetime archive

Data ownership done right. Every poll - one sample every 5 seconds - is written to a microSD card that lives in the device and belongs to you. Not the cloud. Self-organising files, survives power cuts, and a 16 GB card holds over 15 years of 5-second data (~94.6 million samples, ~9.5 GB).

Heat Pumps - EasyGrid
♨️

Heat Pumps Coming soon

Soon EasyGrid will also control your heat pump - running it when power is cheapest and the sun is shining. Schedule space heating and hot water around electricity prices, weather and your solar surplus, and let the heat pump become an active part of your energy management. This feature is under development.

Inverter Command and Registers - EasyGrid
🛠️

Inverter Command and Registers

For the nerds and experts: EasyGrid gives you full, direct access to everything inside the connected inverter. Read and write any Modbus register, inspect every live value, switch operating modes and battery priorities, and set charge/discharge limits by hand. Nothing is hidden - if the inverter exposes it, you can see it and change it.

Take EasyGrid in your pocket

You can also install EasyGrid as a mobile app. Android is supported now - an Apple iPhone version is on the way.

  • The app is set up on your local network and pulls all data straight from your Datalogger - including historical data from the SD card.
  • Move away from the local network and the app still works: data is relayed through a cloud service that keeps the connection to the datalogger on your local network. Your data stays yours and remains on your own SD card.
Get it on Google Play - Android Beta testes Apple App Store - coming soon Coming soon

Integration

Home Assistant

The EasyGrid Datalogger fully supports Home Assistant integration over MQTT. The device publishes its data to your MQTT broker, so it shows up in Home Assistant automatically - ready for dashboards, automations and history.

You decide what is shared - EasyGrid
🏠

You decide what is shared

It is fully user-configurable exactly which data is exposed to Home Assistant. Turn on just the measurements you need (power, energy, battery SOC, grid voltage, prices and much more) and leave the rest on the device.

Simple MQTT setup - EasyGrid
🔗

Simple MQTT setup

Enter your MQTT broker address and credentials in the device setup, and EasyGrid connects itself. Home Assistant then auto-discovers every device and sensor.

What it looks like in Home Assistant

Your selected measurements arrive as ready-to-use devices and sensors in Home Assistant - updated in real time and ready for your own dashboards and automations.

Warning ! Avoid controlling from more than one side (the EasyGrid DataLogger and Home Assistant), as it can have unpredictable and damaging consequences. If you prefer to control your system (inverter etc.) from Home Assistant, we recommend disabling all control on the EasyGrid Datalogger.

Fleet Management

Own more than one EasyGrid Datalogger? From here you can remotely control every device and update their firmware - all from one central place.

Bridge mode Coming soon

Put your EasyGrid DataLogger in Bridge mode and link it to your own custom cloud server - ready to receive commands, stream live (raw) data back, and forward events in real time. This feature is under development.
